Sultana and Mazu at Spetses Regatta

Two Hoek Designed Yachts were competing in the Spetses Classic Regatta 2019 in Greece last weekend. “Sultana” and “Mazu”, both 66 ft pilot classic yachts from Performance Classic Yachts, were well received between an all classic yachts regatta.

With line honors for Sultana three out of the four races she became second overall and Mazu, having a small headsail failure at the start of the last race that was quickly fixed, finished fourth overall. According to Ruurt Meulemans from Hoek Design on board Sultana the last days the wind was over 20 kts but with an excellent owner driver and main trimmer the boat was well sailed.

Thanks to the entire team of Mazu and Sultana and the race organization of Spetses Classic Regatta.
