PILOT CLASSIC
We have created various designs with a plumb bow, classic sheer and classic stern overhang in our Pilot Classic range. One of the first yachts designed in this style was the 36-foot Tintel, launched in 2000. Tintel has since sailed to many remote places and proved herself as an extremely fast and seaworthy vessel thanks to her long waterline length, high stability and tall sail plan. She outperforms many modern yachts of a similar size thanks to an optimised underwater configuration with a fin keel and spade rudder. The 85ft Pilot Classic Windhunter is another good example as is a 155 ft Pilot Classic design built by Royal Huisman and launched in the spring of 2014. You will find yachts of a similar style in this section up to 200 feet in size. The forty, fifty and sixty-metre Pilgrim projects, developed in close cooperation with Wally Yachts, are the most well-known and spectacular. Smaller yachts are currently in development.
