J-class SVEA and Topaz winners at SYC Palma 2022

Dear Friends,

We are proud to let you know that the J Class races during the Palma Superyacht Cup were a great succes for the two J’s that were designed by our office, Svea and Topaz.

The races were in light to moderate winds in the bay of Palma with two upwind downwind races the first day, and coastal races the other 3 days.

Topaz was leading the scoreboard after the first two days with Svea taking the lead in day 3 and 4.

The races were close against Velsheda and Ranger with all 4 boats winning a race and three of them being 4th as well.

Svea under her new Swedish ownership since 2 month’s showed great speed and nice high mode and was sailed very well despite the team was only formed very recently by their 3 Swedish owners.

Our congratulations to the owners and crew of Svea and Topaz and look forward to seeing them race again in Sardinia!
