74' Albatros
This 74-foot Pilot Classic design is currently on the boards for Essence Yachts in the Netherlands as a follow up on the succesful Essence 33 daysailer. It is being developed along lines similar to those of the 85-foot Pilot Classic Windhunter II, with a more voluminous hull and slightly more beam and freeboard to increase the interior volume. This robust yacht features a vast aft cockpit, a deckhouse with lounge area, and an open-plan galley/dining concept as a lower saloon. A full-beam aft owners' stateroom, double guest cabins and separate crew quarters together result in a vessel that is both easy to handle for a shorthanded crew and can be operated by an enthusiastic family.
