This 33' Pilot Classic daysailer Essence 33 is being series-built by Essence Yachts in the Netherlands. The first one is delivered in 2012 and already seven yachts are built up to date. Hull no. 4 of the E33 was sold to the US and is sailing in New York waters what attracted attention and make the sale of hull no. 5. Recently hull no. 6 is delivered to her new owners and as a rare occasion, hull no 7 is immediately available for sale.
The Essence 33 is built using epoxy in a female mould. With a very large cockpit and expansive sunbathing area, this design still provides ample space in the interior for several bunks and a toilet. With Mastervolt electric propulsion and a carbon mast and boom, this 33-foot yacht is executed to a level of quality more reminiscent of a superyacht, and offers excellent value.
The yacht is nominated as for European Yacht of the Year 2014 and has won the Boat of the Year award in the sailing yacht category at the HISWA Amsterdam Boat Show.
