EYE FOR DETAIL

In addition to the high-tech nature of our software and design tools, Hoek Design is blessed with staff members who can actually draw – a rarity in the business today. As a result, we can easily provide our customers with sketches and three-dimensional ideas on paper. This singular skill also reinforces an eye for fine detail on drawings, which is then translated onto your boat.
Hoek Design developed through having relatively large yachts built at relatively small yards. As these yards didn’t have their own drawing facilities, we took care of all the workshop drawings. The efficiencies we achieved made our designs very original and price competitive at the same time. 
Today, large Hoek yachts are built at renowned yards such as Royal Huisman, Vitters, Holland Jachtbouw, Jongert, McMullen & Wing, Claasen Shipyards, Aluboot, Proteksan and Alloy Yachts.
While most have their own drawing facilities, we have seen that projects benefit greatly overall if we deliver detailed drawings from the outset. They help the yard to visualise the project and clients to see exactly what they will be getting from a very early stage.
