262' Schooner
At a length of 262 feet, this spectacular two-mast schooner is the largest Hoek design yet. The design was completed a few years ago but has yet to be built. The design comprises a vast owners' stateroom, located aft together with four superb guest suites. The owners will also enjoy a private deckhouse and cockpit, with a separate navigation deckhouse and social deckhouse found amidships. Aft of the main deckhouse is the saloon, while a formal dining room forward is flanked by various service facilities. Other superyacht facilities include five double crew cabins with a large crew mess, separate engine room and control room, a laundry and walk-in freezers. A detail never before seen on a Hoek design is the storage of two large tenders below deck, which are launched via hydraulic hatches in the deck. With a model due for wind tunnel testing, we hope construction of this design will materialise in the near future.
