TC 68 Kingfisher
The Truly Classic 68 Kingfisher was built at the renowned Aluboot yard in the Netherlands and launched in 2008. Her design is a further development of the Truly Classic 65, five of which have been built to date. The displacement is lower than on the TC 65, and the yacht is slightly narrower and longer with a similar interior volume. The TC 68 also has slightly longer overhangs on the stern and bow as well as a masthead rig and sail plan. The cockpit is sheltered and the roof of the deckhouse overhangs the cockpit, creating a great shelter from the elements. The deckhouse has a table providing ample space for eight and a small nav station to port. Two aft guest cabins, one of which has an ensuite shower and head, as well as a large open plan saloon and a large owners' cabin complement the interior. The yacht has been highly optimised by our in-house aero/hydrodynamic specialists, and the interior has been fine-tuned by our interior design team. Add in a lifting keel, carbon spars and a spade rudder and you have all the ingredients for a great performance in Spirit of Tradition regattas.
