This high performance 18 metre/60 ft Truly Classic/Retro classic powerboat is pioneered by the Hoek Design office as a classically styled motoryacht for the 21st century. As the brief called for high speed, the design has been tank tested at the Wolfson Unit in Southampton, and her twin 800-horsepower engines allow for a maximum of 32 knots. The yacht was developed as a family cruiser to be sailed without permanent crew, but assisted by shore personnel when not in use.
The classic exterior and luxury interior styling combine to form an outstanding design, unique in styling and appearance. From deck level, two staircases lead up to a swimming platform. The aft peak has a transom door giving access to the inboard tender storage, and the engine room is partly below the deckhouse and the cockpit. Various cockpit versions have been designed, some with a large dining table and others with sunbathing and lounge areas. The deckhouse features a dining table and galley. Down below are two guest cabins and a large, full-beam owners’ cabin.
All in all, this is an ideal cruiser for the Mediterranean – the Balearic Islands, the South of France and the Greek islands – and a fast commuter. The yacht will be built in composites, in a female mould in limited series. A 72-foot version of this 60-footer is presently under development and we welcome your enquiries at
