57' Jenny

The design of the 57-foot classic sloop Jenny is based on that of Tintagel, with the addition of overhangs that are two feet longer. Aft, she features a slightly deeper wing keel and a fractionally higher mast. Her low freeboard, flush deck and low coach roof make Jenny a beautiful yacht in her own right. Having had the cedar core hull constructed by a yard, her Norwegian owner finished the rest of the project himself and spent the following years completing a circumnavigation. Jenny is cutter rigged and her substantial interior volume is optimised with an aft owner's stateroom and two guest cabins forward. She received the "Boat of the year award" in Norway in 2005.
