This magnificent 85.5m schooner is a distinctive Hoek design of megayacht scale with an enormous amount of living space on board. She bears all the hallmarks of our refined modern-classic style, from the graceful curves of her spoon bow and counter stern to the subtle swoop of her sheer line and the forward slanting roofs of her three deckhouses.

A three-masted schooner rig is the best choice of sailplan for a world cruising, ocean voyaging yacht of this size. The Panamax-height masts carry an enormous amount of sailpower and her downwind performance – crucial for transatlantic passages – will be phenomenal, with speeds above 20 knots easily achievable in trade wind conditions.

She’ll be able to set full sail very quickly, in about five minutes from raising anchor, with furling booms and headsail units, and all halyards and sheets on captive winches. Her six-metre fixed draught is the practical limit for coastal cruising. A deep-draught centreboard or lifting keel will ensure good performance while sailing to windward. On the vast expanse of deck, three separate cockpits provide a variety of spaces for socialising, dining, lounging and sunbathing. The deck layout will be fully customised to suit her owner’s sailing plans.

One stand-out interior feature is the 70m² owner’s suite, located aft with its own private deckhouse and cockpit. The full-beam master cabin has separate his-and-hers bathrooms and a lounge area. There's an upper living room and an office in the deckhouse above, which flows directly out into the owner’s aft cockpit. The 100m² main deckhouse is another highlight: bright and open with panoramic views in all directions. There’s ample space in here for an expansive lounge and a big dining table plus a bar, a library, a day heads and a crew pantry to enable swift, efficient service. Down below, facilities for guests include a dedicated gym and a separate spa. Hallways that curve around the bases of her three masts are a distinctive feature. She has five very large, comfortable guest cabins in addition to the owner’s suite. One of these is a VIP suite, amidships on the starboard side, with a fold-out balcony terrace for bathing and private relaxation at anchor. The wheelhouse and nav station are in the forward deckhouse. The crew and service areas are in the foreship, with generously sized accommodation for 16 people. Two 7.5-metre tenders can be carried in bays beneath the foredeck.
