Sea Dragon was originally launched under the name Sapphire. With her flush deck, moderate overhangs and sexy sheer line, she is perfectly proportioned in every way and epitomises the classic Hoek look. The ocean racing performance and manoeuvrability of this aluminium sloop is further enhanced by a tall cutter rig, modern deep fin keel, spade rudder and hydraulic winches. The owner's intention to charter the yacht extensively is clearly reflected in Sapphire's design and layout: for instance, there are four virtually identical cabins rather than a large owner's stateroom and two guest suites.
