OUR PHILOSOPHY

Driven by a great passion for sailing and a keen eye for detail, we are perfectionists. Regardless of her style, a Hoek Design yacht reflects the very latest in technology, is optimised extensively and performs superbly.
She must be aesthetically pleasing to the eye and completely balanced in terms of appearance and performance, both inside and out. All our yachts share details which make them easily recognisable; timeless above-water appearances with a modern performance configuration below enabling our Owners to cruise the world in comfort and style.
Here at Hoek Design, we aim to move forward in new directions every day, constantly building on our history and experience. For this reason, we are equally at home today conceiving classic yachts and modern yachts, whether sailing or motor, yachts with leeboards (traditional Dutch yachts), gaff rigs and square rigs. Working from one end of the spectrum to the other, there’s nothing we like more than developing a design as far as it can go, whether it’s a pretty daysailer designed for the lakes, an elegant Superyacht designed for world cruising and regattas or a thoroughbred J-Class designed for the race course.
