New Truly Classic 128, Vijonara delivered to owners

The second yacht in the Truly Classic 128 series has been delivered to knowledgeable clients who customised our design to suit their lifestyle. 
 
Completed by Pendennis Shipyard with the hull built at Bloemsma, Vijonara has been optimized for performance including the addition of a bow sprit to house the downwind sails while paying homage to vintage sailing yachts. The deck layout was modified in response to the specific wishes of the owner, with a helm station directly behind the centre co-cockpit creating a social atmosphere on deck. 
 
We worked closely with the owners to create a layout suitable for family cruising and were pleased to help them craft an owners’ suite which would provide them with an exceptional experience onboard. The addition of an oculus allows the owners to view the underwater world while his and hers bathrooms, a private seating area and study, and an aft cockpit which acts as an extension to the owners’ cabin add to the sense of relaxation and privacy the design delivers. 
 
Forward of the owners’ suite to port is a large main salon complete with TV and library, providing a separate social area to the dining suite. Vijonara sleeps six guests in three cabins, with four or five crew accommodated in three cabins. A gym was incorporated on the starboard side which can quickly be transformed into an extra cabin if called for, while details like the central steering wheel with two adjacent side consoles flanked by winches and hydraulics mean she is able to be sailed to a high standard of performance by a small crew. 
 
With the successful iteration of a Truly Classic 128 in award-winning Atalante, and now the beautiful addition of Vijonara, we have seen increasing orders from customers who are impressed with what this style offers. Hull number three is under construction, with the hull built at Bloemsma and the yacht ready to be finished in Istanbul at SES Yachts. Hull number four has just begun construct ion at Bloemsma and will be finished at Pendennis, while in design we already have hull number five underway.
