Last night Andre Hoek was presented with two prestigious awards, being the Naval Architecture Award for the best sailing yacht for the Pilot Classic Ketch “Elfje” and Exterior Design & Styling Award for sailing yacht over 40 m. for the classic sloop “Wisp” which was also awarded with the Interior Design Award that was handed to Jonathan Rhoades.
The 46 meter Pilot Classic Ketch “Elfje” was the result of a long research project where hull shape and performance were extensively optimized and the judges awarded this with this prestigious award. The 48 meter Classic Sloop “Wisp” is a perfect evolution of the classically styled yachts from Hoek Design. We are obviously proud to have won these prestigious awards and would also like to thank the yard Royal Huisman and the interior designers Redman Whitely Dixon and Rhoades Young for their invaluable cooperation.
