Kim was the first ketch-rigged Hoek design to combine a classic appearance with an ultra-modern underwater arrangement, which includes a wing keel, elliptic spade rudder, recessed anodes and folding maxprop propeller. She followed on from the success of sister ship Joss in the sloop category, both being wonderful 70-feet boats that set new standards in the classic sphere. With her medium/heavy displacement and splendid Honduras mahogany interior, Kim was built for comfortable family cruising.
