165' Henriette
The design of the magnificent traditional sloop-rigged Henriette is based on the J class yachts with a modern underwater configuration. At 165 feet, she is, however, some 35 per cent longer, and significantly more performance oriented. Henriette is optimised for speed in many different ways, with her aluminium hull contributing to an exceptionally light displacement. Racing attributes include a lifting keel, carbon spars with a furling boom, and a spade rudder. Henriette's mast height is just below the maximum height of 205 feet allowed by the Panama Canal. Below decks, the complete aft section of the yacht is set aside for the owners, with a separate cabin for a staff member. Other features of note include a large deckhouse, an engine room with standing headroom, a saloon with library and comprehensive crew facilities. This project is presently on hold and can be taken over by other clients. Contact us at info@hoekdesign.com for more details.
