The Essence 33 from our boards has won the Boat of the Year award in the sail yacht category at the HISWA Amsterdam Boat Show. This prestigious prize was handed out on the opening day of the event to Dark Ice, the second of the Essence 33 series. Hulls number three and four are currently under construction in two versions, a stripped-out sport boat version and a more luxurious model.
The Essence 33 is built by Essence Yachts in the Netherlands in high tech epoxy composites in glass and carbon. An independent jury proclaimed the Essence 33 as: “A quality Dutch boat. She is beautifully finished and has good seating in the cockpit, making her a genuine pleasure to sail. Her efficient propulsion is based on an electric engine. And the Essence 33 is a real pleasure to look at too.”
